Guitar has always come naturally to 16 year old Kyle Cimino.  Beginning with classical guitar instruction at age 9, he quickly decided the electric guitar was his instrument of choice.  Kyle moved to Kansas City in 2004 and soon after became a student at what is now The School of Rock.

Kyle now plays with CIMINO bandmates Trevor Brown and Sebastian Anderson.
The boys shared a passion for classic rock with influences from groups like Van Halen, Bon Jovi, and Shinedown.  They recently recorded and released their first EP, CIMINO, available on iTunes and cdbaby.com.

Kyle’s diverse talent and showmanship has also inspired accolades from Kansas City’s own  multi-platinum recording artist Wes Scantlin from Puddle of Mudd.  Wes saw Kyle play Halloween night 2007 and spoke about him soon after.  In an interview with Ultimate Guitar Online Magazine, Wes praised Kyle’s playing:  “He played Eddie Van Halen solos like it was no big deal.  It was like second nature.”

Kyle is an accomplished musician playing numerous instruments including trumpet and guitar for Park Hill South High School’s elite Jazz Band.  Kyle recently earned the Maestro Award at the Chicago Heritage Music Festival for his jazz guitar solo.
